Large Cedar Blackened Geometric Vase

This geometrically inspired vase was made from a cedar beam repurposed from a lane house renovation in Deep Cove. The black vase has been burned with a torch, not stained and has just the right amount of history from its past life highlighted in a vertical crack and singe cracks.  
 
A 1" opening in each vase holds a 6" tall glass vessel to store water for fresh garden clippings and forest finds. Smoothly sanded to the touch and finished with food safe butcher block oil standing 9" tall and 7.5" wide at its max width.
