GIVING BACK
KNOW BETTER, DO BETTER:
A "know better, do better" approach to daily life is something my family strives for. We are by no means perfect, but by questioning our purchases, food choices and interests my family aims to lessen our ecological footprint. This is also why Coldwell Creations supports the circular economy with repurposed and reclaimed materials.

VOLUNTEERING:

I am a firm believer in giving back to my community and charities that are near and dear to my values.

I was raised in a household where volunteering in one's corner of the world is "just part of life" and something "you do" to build community ties and "keep the community magic alive". As a multi-generational Deep Cove family, I strive to keep the magic of the "small town in a big city" feel that the Cove is known for.

This is one of the main reasons I jumped on board and volunteered to build the Cove Community Market series - a local artisan market that offers eco forward and handmade goods while also involving our family of schools, community groups, and local businesses in the planning and success of our bi-annual markets.

CHARITIES I SUPPORT:

Coldwell Creations is now officially a business. In December of each calendar year I donate as a business, not just as an individual to:
Grounded in sound evidence, the David Suzuki Foundation empowers people to take action in their communities on the environmental challenges we collectively face. We’re One Nature.

Proceeds from firewood Christmas trees sales in December 2023 were donated to North Shore Family Services to sponsor two families.
